New World offers a range of services to support disadvantaged youth residing in our homes. New World offers a “whole-person” program which focuses on social, emotional, behavioral, academic, physical and financial needs of each youth resident.
Group Homes
Homes – Stable, Safe and Nurturing
1. Beautiful homes providing beds, activity rooms, homework areas, serene outdoor areas, loaded kitchen and all necessary home accommodations.
2. Stable, professional staff/ mentors that demonstrate care, respect and positive modeling. Trained in safety, medical administration and logging, assessment, counseling, and resource referrals.
3. Weekly individual and group therapy, intensive drug program, daily behavior observation and problem-solving skill development
Educational Supports
Education – Skill Development and Advanced Preparation
1. Local public schools in high-end neighborhoods provide high California State testing scores and school services to support all students.
2. Daily homework support, tutoring. Other career/educational outings
3. Coordination with school personnel for Individualized Education Plans, graduation planning and/or college preparation or vocational planning
4. Emancipation - Life Supports
5. Emancipation and Transitional Life Supports – Achievable Life Opportunities
We're addressing real barriers such as: low self-esteem, poor social skills, poor school performance, lack of access to jobs/careers/training…and You Can Help! A few examples of how are job and intern search support to give real-life, hands-on experience or outreach to community and business partners and career resources.
New World offers an array of services for youth. We need your help to sustain this high investment into our kids.

Our On-going Donation Wish List: bed linens, educational & electronic age-appropriate activities, clothing gift cards, shoe gift cards, food gift cards, on-going site repair and maintenance, specialized educational technology when needed, sponsored educational tours of college campuses, museums, regional parks and cultural outings, Donations that support job counseling, resume development, job-seeking skill development, coordination of internships, volunteer opportunities and paid jobs.
